WTUN: how can the collective deliver impact on our key themes?

Thursday 3 October 2019
11:15 – 12:30

When: Thursday 3 October 2019, 11:15AM – 12:30PM

What: Round Table Discussion: Parallel Session

Overview: At the 2018 Congress WTUN set a range of themes to focus our activities. These were; Gender Equality, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Good Health and Wellbeing; Clean Water and Sanitation and Sustainable Cities and Communities. Some of these themes are now work streams (as highlighted in the previous session) whilst others are the UN Sustainable Development Goals the WTUN most identifies to contribute towards. These round table discussions will be led by a Chair and will be an opportunity to share best practice and challenges from institutions on the themes. The session should be a chance to debate the theme and consider what as a network and sector we should be doing to create change and impact on the identified theme.

Contributors Required: Each session will require a Chair. Where the work stream has an existing Chair they will be approached to act as session Chair. We will require a Chair for the sessions Clean Water and Sanitation; Good Health and Wellbeing and Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Please register your interest to Chair the round table by emailing wtun@bradford.ac.uk or to discuss call +44 (0)1274 236772.
