Visit to SUT RSPG Training Centre:
RSPG is a community training center operated by SUT, which is one of the sites of the Plant Genetic Conservation Projects Under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG). Nestled in the mountains overlooking the scenic Lam Takhong reservoir, SUT’s RSPG training center was established to promote skills, personnel, and plant genetic resources to maintain the country’s plant species and as a channel to transfer knowledge from SUT to the community. The center exhibits greenhouses, plantations and agricultural produce transformation training facilities to train farmers, local businesses, and general public.
Delegates will visit 3 exhibitions during the visit. There will also be the opportunity for some hands-on Thai snack cooking! Delegates will then taste their culinary creations during the farewell dinner.
