Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese is a distinguished educationist and administrator who has played a pivotal role in the growth, development, and advancement of the Hindustan Group of Institutions with a steadfast focus on global education, innovation, research, technology, and the holistic development of students.
Under his leadership, Hindustan College of Engineering was granted University status by the Government of India in 2008, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of the institution. His vision has also extended beyond higher education, with the establishment of four international schools in Chennai, thereby strengthening the Group’s educational presence from primary education to higher and professional learning.
