Dr. Wallapa Choeibuakaew is the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Sports Science at Thaksin University, Thailand. She is an experienced academic, researcher, and university administrator with expertise in health sciences, nursing, public health, health promotion, and health service administration.
Her academic and research interests cover a broad range of health-related areas, particularly public health, health behavior, health promotion, and the development of approaches to improving individual and community well-being. Her recent scholarly contributions include research on food and nutrition literacy among adolescents and health behavior among university students. She has also collaborated with researchers from Thailand and other countries on health and sports science research.
In 2024, she received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Health Science from St. Mother Theresa University, Australia, recognizing her contributions and dedication to the health sciences.
Through her leadership, research, and academic service, Dr. Choeibuakaew continues to support the advancement of health science education, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration at both national and international levels.
