Ms Nabila Al Macki

Nabila Al Macki is a passionate leader in learning and education, with a strong commitment to advancing academic standards and student experience. She is the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at Majan University College, where she oversees quality assurance and enhancement across the institution. She was the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Oman Association for Quality in Higher Education (OAQHE) from 2022 to 2024, contributing to the national dialogue on academic quality and excellence.
Nabila earned her MBA in Financial Management from the University of Hull, UK, and in 2018, she was awarded Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), recognising her leadership and impact in higher education. She has significant teaching experience in Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, and Leadership, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and has supervised numerous student research projects.
Her expertise extends to programme review, curriculum development, and aligning academic programmes with national and international standards. She has acquired in-depth knowledge of UK quality assurance processes as well as Oman’s higher education frameworks, enabling her to bridge global best practices with local needs.
In addition to her academic leadership, Nabila is an external reviewer for the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education. She also contributes to several national committees, further shaping policy and practice in higher education.
Through her roles, Nabila continues to influence the advancement of education, quality, and leadership in Oman’s higher education sector.
