Dr. Tejaswi Ashok Hegde is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), Chennai. He has research experience in materials science, nonlinear optics, crystallography, spectroscopy, computational chemistry, and optoelectronic materials.
His research focuses on developing and characterizing functional materials for nonlinear optical applications. His current interests include thin-film technology, AI-integrated Raman spectroscopy, Cyber-Physical Systems, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces, and precision agriculture. He combines experimental and computational approaches to understand structure-property relationships in functional materials.
