Mr Steven Sarangavany Sengayen

Steven Sengayen is a Practising Solicitor of England & Wales and the managing director of Steven & Associates Law Firm based in Mauritius. Steven is presently the President of International Law Association (Mauritius Branch). He is also based in the City of London with in-depth experience of law and its application in dispute resolution, litigation and corporate transactions, international finance and investment activities.

In April 2017, he was selected by the World Bank Group to participate in the World Bank’s Doing Business 2018 report as an expert in the area of insolvency in Mauritius.

Further in September 2012, he compiled a country report entitled “Business in Mauritius 2012” which was published and distributed in the UK’s Sunday Telegraph Newspaper.

Previously, Steven worked for a number of magic circle law firms in the UK such as Freshfields Bruckhaus and Deringer, Linklaters, Herbert Smith LLP and Sullivan and Cromwell LLP. He also worked for prestigious institutions such as the British Institute of International and Comparative Law in the fields of EU competition and financial law and the International Defence Attorneys Association.

He read law (LL.B from University of Hull; Pg. Dip. Legal Practice from University of Oxford; LL.M -Master of Laws in International finance and securities law from University of London, kings and Queen Mary Colleges ). He also gained a double degrees, a BA Hons. in economics and law from London Guildhall University as well as Licence degree in Administration Economique et Social (AES) from University of Paris V – Rene Descartes (France) respectively. Steven trained and qualified as an English Solicitor in London. In December 2014, Steven graduated with an MBA Finance from University of Bradford, School of Management (Triple Crown Accreditation). In September 2012, Steven was elected Freeman for the City of London Solicitors’ Company.

Dr Caroline Wilson

Caroline Wilson is an Associate Professor and Curriculum Change Lead at Coventry University. She has a background in media, business and engineering teaching as well as in research, and uses these twin backgrounds while currently seconded to the university group’s Curriculum 2025 Team. This team supports colleagues in refreshing courses to meet the needs of tomorrow’s professionals and leaders. Caroline’s particular responsibility is in embedding measures to support equity of attainment, and sustainability.

Miss Alexandra Negoita

Alexandra Negoita is a Curriculum Intern at Coventry University since 2019. She works predominantly on embedding sustainability and social responsibility, decolonisation and inclusivity in the curriculum. She has a BSc in Criminal Psychology and an MSc in Applied Psychology.

Dr Francisco Kapalu Ngongo

Francisco Kapalo Ngongo is an Angolan who has lived abroad in Africa and Europe, first as a refugee, and then as a student and on international staff. He holds a PhD from the peace studies department of the School of Social and International Studies, University of Bradford, UK. His work experience is in the field of peace building, development and policy influencing. His vision is to contribute to the building of institutions for sustainable development, peace, and good governance in Africa.

Dr Richard Dunn

Richard Dunn has been a Business Partnership Officer at the University of Bradford since 2021. His role is to connect organisation with University capabilities and research. Previously, Richard has worked as the Research Development Manager and as a Project Manager at the University. Prior to joining the University Richard worked in Industry in the medical device sector, and as a Senior Development Officer at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. He received his Eng.D from Heriot Watt University in 2010 in the field of Micro- Nano- Technology.
