Dr Yun Ii Go

Dr. Yun Ii Go is Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. She is the Associate Dean of Science and Engineering Constituency and Associate Director of Academic Quality in School of Engineering & Physical Sciences. Prior to this, she served as Program Director for MSc programs and led the program accreditation by Energy Institute, ECUK. She is a certified competent person by Malaysia Sustainable Energy Development Authority, a certified energy manager under Association of Southeast Asian Nations Energy Management Scheme, a Professional Engineer awarded by Board of Engineers Malaysia and a Chartered Engineer awarded by IET, UK. Yun Ii has also successfully received well-recognized esteem and recognition among the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation and Southeast Asia Nations as the APEC Engineer, International Professional Engineer and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer statuses. At the national level, she served as Head of Panel of Evaluator for Engineering Technology Accreditation Council, led various program accreditations for HEIs across the country. Yun Ii is passionate in green technology and sustainable development for resilient living. She leads various research projects from Energy Academy, Royal Academy of Engineering UK, Global Challenge Research Fund, Ministry of Education Malaysia, Ministry of Foreign Affair Taiwan etc; developed strong research partnership from UK, US, Southeast Asia and East Africa.
