Dr Stefan Sunzenauer
Stefan Sunzenauer is Dean for International Programs and Lifelong Learning at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and Founding Director of CoL³, the Center of Lifelong Learning. He holds a PhD in Technical Sciences from Johannes Kepler University Linz and has a background in technical physics, biophysics, engineering, and innovation management. Since joining the university in 2015, he has led the development of university preparation, foundation, and lifelong learning programmes, including internationally delivered pathways in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Before entering higher education leadership, he worked in research at Johannes Kepler University Linz and TU Wien and in innovation and engineering at Magna Powertrain. His expertise spans academic programme development, quality assurance, internationalization, access pathways to higher education, and continuing professional education.
