Dr. Melba Angni

Melba Angni is a dedicated and experienced leader at Mindanao State University, serving as the Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office. In this role, Melba has been instrumental in fostering global partnerships, enhancing international collaborations, and promoting cross-cultural understanding. Her vision and strategic initiatives have significantly expanded the university’s global footprint, providing students and faculty with enriched academic and research opportunities.

In addition to her role in international affairs, Melba is also the Focal Person of the Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System at Mindanao State University. As a passionate advocate for gender equality and women’s empowerment, she spearheaded the integration of gender perspectives into the policies, plans, and activities of various academic, semi-academic and administrative units of the university.

With a strong background in both social and natural sciences, Melba brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her roles.
