Mr Masahiko Inoda

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach, Masahiko Inoda obtained a Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance, Specialize in College Student Personnel, from California Lutheran University.

Since he joined the Office of International Services at Shibaura Institute of Technology in 2008, contributing to sending Japanese students abroad. In 2014, he served as Deputy Director of the Office of International Services when Shibaura Institute of Technology was selected “Top Global University” from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, as the only private technical university in Japan.

He later served as Chief Administrative Officer at Shibaura Institute of Technology Junior and Senior High School, contributing to the internationalization of the junior and senior high school. He also achieved the school’s first-ever acceptance of international students from overseas.

From 2022, as Director of the Office of International Services, he focused on restarting student exchanges with overseas institutions following the pandemic.

Currently, as the project leader for expanding the acceptance of degree-seeking international students into Shibaura Institute of Technology’s undergraduate programs, he is working towards the goal of doubling the number of international students by the university’s 100th anniversary of establishment in 2027.
