Dr Nopporn Rujisamphan

Assistant Professor at Laboratory for Interface and Surface Characterization
King Mongkut’s University of Technology

Dr Nopporn Rujisamphan is an Assistant Professor at Laboratory for Interface and Surface Characterization, King Mongkut’s University of Technology (KMUTT), Thailand. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Delaware, USA, in 2014. Then, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (HZB). His research group at the ISC KMUTT focuses on the optical and electrical properties of emerging semiconductors, including halide perovskites. Through multimodal characterizations his research group related the optoelectronic properties to chemical, material morphological, and structural properties. With that fundamental scientific understanding allows his laboratory to construct, up to now, perovskite solar cells with their power conversion efficiency over 21%.
