Professor Saranjit Singh

Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh with Doctoral and Master’s degree in Production Engg (Manufacturing Engg) and Bachelors in Mechanical Engg and has been associated with KIIT University since last 15 years. He served 10 years at BIT Mesra, Ranchi as Associate Professor in Department of Production Engineering followed by 15 Years in at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha as Professor, Dean, Director and Pro-Vice Chancellor. His teaching & research areas of interest are sustainable manufacturing, cleaner technologies, competitive manufacturing strategies, material processing technologies, metal forming of sintered, cellular, foam, polymer and metal matrix composites, DFX methodologies, quality engineering & quality management. He had guided 5 Doctoral and 25 Master scholars and had published/ presented more than 100 research articles in the international & national journals, conferences and seminars. He has published 3 books in the area of material processing technologies and is also Fellow & Life Member of numerous engineering societies. His last assignment was as Pro-Vice Chancellor and presently working a Vice Chancellor of KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar.
