Overview of University

Mindanao State University (MSU), located in Marawi City, Mindanao in the Philippines, is committed to the development of its learners and academic excellence. MSU is formed from constituent universities and colleges within the Mindanao region.

MSU’s mission is to lead in social transformation, ensure excellence in research development and innovation, and to advance international linkages through collaboration.

MSU is actively engaged in research endeavors aimed at addressing local and global challenges, such as climate change, food security, and health disparities.

International Relations

MSU has a number of formal cooperation agreements, including 121 within their region and 26 more worldwide. They have collaborate with Kastamonu University (Turkey), Seameo Biotrop, the Regional Centre for Tropical Biology (Indonesia) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (Malaysia).
