Student Competition 2021 winners
In 2021, WTUN launched their second Student Competition, it was open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from our member universities.
The theme was “Digital Creativity” and students were asked to use Digital Creativity in some way to try and address one of the WTUN’s chosen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
- Affordable and Clean Energy
- Climate Action
- Clean Water and Sanitation
- Sustainable Cities and Communities
The assessment panel was thoroughly impressed by the student proposals and videos and the final results were very close.
The winner
We are delighted to announce our 2021 winner is Team Ahlia from Ahlia University! Congratulations!
Students: Areej Salah Abdulrahman, Hanaan Ur Rahman and Maryam Akram Tasleem.
Second place
In second place was Team Fire Fall from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. Well done!
Students: Venkata Neeraj Naidu Vishnumolakala, Niteesh Narasimhan, Hannah Addakula and Panvi Patel.
Third place
In third place was Team iTexCo from University Teknologi Malaysia. Great work!
Students: Muhammad Imran Ismail, Chee Wan Choy, Mohd Amirul Mukminin Latirin and Muhammad Iqbal Rushaidi.
A huge congratulations to all of our winners but also to all of our entrants who did a great job. We wish you all the best and hope to see you entering future WTUN competitions and activities.
