Student Competition 2022 winners

For 2022, undergraduate and postgraduate students from WTUN member institutions were invited to form a multidisciplinary team of up to four members and submit a proposal to the WTUN Student Competition.

The theme was “Digital Creativity” and students were asked to use Digital Creativity in some way to try and address one of the WTUN’s chosen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

  1. Affordable and Clean Energy
  2. Climate Action
  3. Clean Water and Sanitation
  4. Sustainable Cities and Communities
  5. Gender Equality

The assessment panel was thoroughly impressed by the student proposals and videos and the final results were very close.

The winner

We are delighted to announce our 2022 winner is Team EquaLearn from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology! Congratulations!

Students: Darmawansah, 優豪鴻 Yu, Hao Hungand 王欣陽 Wang, Shin Yang​.

The prize for the winning team is to attend the World Technology Universities Network’s Annual Congress which for 2022 is hosted by Suranaree University of Technology in Thailand! The WTUN will fund the trip and the students will present their winning idea as part of the programme.

 


Second place

In second place was Team United We”Men” Suranaree University of Technology. Well done!

Students: Waheni Rizki Aprilia, Sakseth Sou, Pimpawan Mansap and Natchaya Phongkuson.

 

Third place

In third place was Team Green from University of Bradford. Great work!

Students: Mohammad Ihsun, Abdul Wajid and Rhoda Babatunde
