WTUN marks International Clean Energy Day

In August 2023, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution proclaiming the 26 January as International Day of Clean Energy, the anniversary day of the founding of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in 2009.

As SDG 7 ‘Affordable and Clean Energy’ is one of the focal areas for this year’s WTUN activities, we see this is an opportunity to share and highlight some of the vital work undertaken by WTUN members in this field.
