Mr Samuel Awudi

Samuel Awudi is Alumni Ambassador for the University of Bradford in Ghana. Samuel studied MSc Finance at the University of Bradford and he is currently the Founder/Director of Global Student-Link Advisors Ghana, a student recruitment organisation providing free and impartial advise to International students seeking admission into the UK. Samuel has played leading roles in connecting foreign universities to have partnerships with Ghanaian universities. Samuel is also member of the British council Global Agents List.

Mr Nam Truong

Hoang Nam Truong is a senior student at Can Tho University which has a reputation for top-notch education in Mekong Delta, Vietnam (the year of 2017-2021). During the past few years, he has worked as a student leader in several projects and organizations such as the president of the English Club in his College, Deputy Head of the Organisation Board of Hult Prize at Can Tho University 2019. In 2019, he joined the workshop at the National University of Singapore, name Festival Of Ideas Future thinking & Scenario Workshop for Youths. In 2020, he has become one of two delegates from Vietnam to participate in the 8th ASEAN Student Leaders Forum at Chiang Mai University. He was involved in several community projects, the most remarkable one was Engineers in Action (EIA). He once said EIA helped him to be equipped with several essential skills such as flexibility and decision-making in solving accidental problems, negotiation incorporation, and life-long learning awareness which was inspired by professional professors he has worked with.

Professor Preethi V.

Dr.V.Preethi received her Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering from the Anna University, Chennai. She completed her MS in Environmental Technology from Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Spain. Her main research activities concern about Advanced oxidation Technologies for Waste gas, Wastewater Treatment and Hydrogen Production, Air Quality Modelling, Waste Gas Treatment by Biofilteration, Biogas production from Waste, Photocatalysis for environmental, energy and health applications, and synthesis, characterization of nanomaterials for photoconversion purposes. She is the author for 24 publications in peer-reviewed journals with high impact and more than 25 oral communications in international conferences. She is also the author of 3 patents. In 2015 she was awarded the Young Scientist Award for Hydrogen Energy and Advanced Materials (HEAM) by National Institute of Technology, Bhopal and Indian Association of Hydrogen Energy and Advanced Materials. Apart from that she also received 5 other national and International awards for her innovative research findings. She has worked as a researcher in Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and UAB, Spain. She has 13 years of experience in both research and teaching. She organized and conducted two International Conferences on Sustainable Environment and Energy (ICSEE 2017 & 19) funded by DST, Government of India. She is the principal Investigator for a project titled ‘Recovery of Hydrogen from Industrial Waste Streams’ funded by DST, Government of India.

Professor Ramesh C.

Prof. C. Ramesh has unique qualifications extending to diverse areas in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Management, human resources and Law. He is Ph. D in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a double MBA, one in HR and other in General management from Germany. He is also a Bachelor of Law in Administrative and Insurance Law, in addition to PhD qualifications. He is an expert academician and Pharmacologist having qualifications in diverse areas, was associated with teaching, administration, consultancy and research for nearly more than two decades. During his Government service, he cleared the accounts test for executive officers, conducted and faced several internal and external audits pertaining to central drug stores, Pulse polio programme, educational regulatory agencies of central and state Governments. During his tenure as Dean, he developed several policies and activities that contributed to the growth of the University. He continuously strives for expanding the learning opportunities and is keen in providing instructional leadership. He has long experience in teaching and administration spread over different Universities of the country at various academic and administrative positions such as Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Pondicherry University, JNTU Hyderabad and IIHMR University, Jaipur. He has held different positions, namely Chairman and Member of Board of Management, Board of studies, Academic Council, IQAC, Admissions committee, Research committee, and contributed for development of the University. He had been a member of inspection committee of the PCI, CSIR, and several other public institutions. He has been a part of various commercial pre-clinical and clinical research projects in India and abroad in the area of diabetes, obesity, hyperlipidemia, anti-arthritis and CV disorders. He has travelled to Thailand and Israel as a business delegation from India to solve Management problems of CROs, IT and Telecom Industry. His consultancy activities include execution and commissioning of turnkey projects for establishment of BA/BE facility, Pre-clinical Pharmacological & Toxicological and a synthetic R&D facility at GLP and GMP standards. Has Published nearly 37 publications in peer reviewed journals at National and International level and presented papers in more than 30 national and International conferences and guided 4 Ph. D scholars for the award of PhD. He has received two national level awards from an NGO based at New Delhi namely “Jewel of India Award” and “Eminent Educationist Award” for his contributions in the field of higher education and research. He has been a member of RICR (U.K), APTI, IPGA and member of editorial board of some reputed Indian and foreign journals in the area of medicine, biology, medico-legal and health management. He has been trained to be an academic leader and for the development of administrative skills under ministry of MHRD program in the year 2018. He has trained good number of people to become CRA, CRCs and PIs in the clinical and Pharmaceutical Research Industry.

Dr S.N. Sridhara

Dr. S.N. Sridhara, is an academician with an in-depth knowledge and profound skills set in teaching pedagogy, research, education and administration. Dr. Sridhara obtained his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University and Masters and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He has been a pioneer in teaching and research with focus on thermal engineering, hybrid electric vehicle, aerospace propulsion, aeromodelling, green energy and experimental and computational fluid dynamics. He has a profound interest in research and has guided several scholars and published more than 150 research articles in peer reviewed journals and international conferences of repute. He has also authored text books for engineering students. He received research grants and successfully completed the research and consultancy projects of industries. Dr. Sridhara was awarded with several honours from various agencies.

Dr Reiko Sodeno

Reiko Sodeno is a professor in the Department of Architecture and Environment Systems, College of Systems Engineering and Science, Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) of Japan since 2018. She received her Ph.D. in Global Environmental Studies from Kyoto University, Japan. She has worked for various environmental problems, such as waste management, climate change, ozone layer depletion, air pollution control, water pollution control and international cooperation at the Ministry of the Environment of Japan for more than twenty years. Based on this experience, she is currently studying on environmental policies and social systems focusing on the context of sustainable development goals (SDGs). She also actively contributes for society as a member of committee or council of Japanese government and municipalities, such as Cabinet Office, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and Saitama prefecture. She is a fellow of the Japan Society of Material Cycles and Waste Management.

Mr Sanjay Kumar Verma

Born on July 28, 1965, Amb. Sanjay Kumar Verma graduated from Patna University and then pursued a Post-Graduate degree in Physics at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.

Amb. Sanjay Kumar Verma is an officer of the 1988 batch of Indian Foreign Service (IFS). He was stationed at the Consulate General of India, Hong Kong and at the Embassy of India in China, Vietnam and Turkey, before serving as the Consul General of India in Milan, Italy. Amb. Verma was also the Indian Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan. Following his tenure in Sudan, Amb. Verma served as Joint Secretary (Global Estate Management) in MEA, New Delhi. Prior to his arrival in Japan as the Ambassador of India, Amb. Verma was posted in MEA, New Delhi as Additional Secretary (Administration) and was also in charge of the Cyber Diplomacy Division.

Amb.Verma is deeply passionate about Information Technology, Artificial intelligence, Cyber Diplomacy, delivery of people-centric services using interactive technologies, guiding and facilitating small businesses and investors, etc.

He reads, writes and speaks Hindi, English and Chinese (Mandarin). He has conversational skills in Bengali as well.

Amb. Verma is married with a son and a daughter.
