Mrs T. Chandra Banu

Ms Chandra Banu is currently serving in School of Management of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science as Associate Professor since 2015.

Before that she served in Government of India , Ministry of Defence in various capacities as Civilian Officer belonging to Armed Forces Head Quarters Civil Service (AFHQCS). She dealt with Human Resource Planning for Officer Cadre of the Indian Army when she was instrumental in introduction women officer commissioning in the Indian Army. She received the Chief of Army Staff’s Commendation. She was dealing with Indian Army’s expenditure budget for four years streamlining the system of monitoring and control of the budget. For her exemplary services she received Chief of Army Staff’s Commendation for the second time.

She has also served Defence Research and Development Organisation and Airports authority of India utilizing her expertise in Project Management and Human Resource Development. in all she has 32 years of service in Government of India. She is an alumni of University of Bradford and did MBA during 1998-99.

Dr C Kezi Selva Vijila

Dr. C. Kezi Selva Vijila is currently working as the Controller of Examinations at the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, India. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Anna University Chennai. She has 27 years of experience in Teaching, Research, and Administration. She was heading the ECE department at Karunya University Coimbatore. Dr. Vijila assumed the Principalship of the Christian College of Engineering and Technology in 2010.

Dr. Vijila has a passel of publications under her belt. Her publications in National and International journals have received wide acclaim. She has produced 10 Ph.Ds within a short span. She received the Young Women Scientist Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu for her pioneering work in the field of Engineering and Technology.

Dr. A. Sherine Joy

Presented papers related to Higher Education in the QSAPPLE Conference held at Philippines, Johannesburg, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Malaysia. She also presented at International Conference at Thessaloniki, Greece organized by Aristotle University. During the pandemic she presented in ICBL2020 conference – International Conference in Canada – October 2020, organised by Mcmaster University Canada, 2021 and Virtual Conference on Higher Education at Ankara Turkey, 2022. Participated as an eminent speaker during the Panel Discussion regarding Challenges in Higher Education Institutions at the 14 th World Education Summit, held at Mumbai, in 2018 and WES Summit, Delhi in 2019 and received the best speaker award. Organised 35 webinars as President of ELTAI, Kancheepuram chapter.
Organised national level English competitions and encouraged student of all colleges across nation. Organised several events as Head of Fempower Centre, HITS and Higher Education events as Head of Dr KCG Verghese Higher Education Leadership Management Centre.

Dr Jacek Lewandowski

Dr Jacek Lewandowski is Campus Director for Coventry University Wroclaw and the Managing Director of a Coventry University Research Institute Europe (CURIE) based in Poland. He is an Experienced Lecturer and Researcher with a background in information technology with a PhD focused in Biomedical Computing, Sensor Networks and Pattern Recognition.

In his time as director of Wroclaw campus, Jacek has setup and is running the first overseas branch Campus of Coventry University in Poland. Working close with local authorities, business and NGOs, Coventry University Wroclaw has become an economic development partner for the region. In light of the recent war in Ukraine Jacek has spearheaded a scholarship that will help refugees fleeing war and other conflicts to continue their studies, demonstrating the commitment to support the wider global community in times of need and ensuring access to education.

Additionally, As an innovative, enterprising and entrepreneurial business-engaged university, through Wroclaw campus Jacek continues to support development of strategic-level collaboration with businesses on a local, national and global scale. Some of the partner organisations Wroclaw campus works with include Collins Aerospace, IBM, regional special economic zones or government foundation for The Platform for the Industry of the Future (FPPP).

Assistant Professor Nanthana Boonla-or

Assistant Professor Nanthana Boonla-or is the current head of Social and Cultural Innovation Lab, one of School of Architecture and Design’s research clusters. Assistant Professor Nanthana has been a lecturer for socio-cultural related subjects since 2000. Her expertise ranges from design research, social innovation to craft product design especially textiles practices. For the past decade, Assistant Professor Nanthana has worked on several community development projects around Thailand  in variety of firms: granted academic research, curricular activities for students and international workshop for partner universities.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Müller

Jens Müller received his diploma degree for electrical engineering and the doctoral degree from TU Ilmenau, Germany, in 1992 and 1997 respectively. From 1997 to 2005, he held managing positions in development departments at Micro Systems Engineering GmbH, Berg, Germany. His responsibilities included research and development of medical implants (especially heart pacemakers) and general substrate and packaging development (e.g. LTCC, flex-circuits, Chip Scale Packaging).

In 2005, he returned to Ilmenau University of Technology to establish the junior research group “Functionalised Peripherics”. In July 2008 he was assigned full professor for the Electronics Technology Group at the same university. Since 2021 he has been the Vice President International Affairs and Transfer.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samak Kaewsuksaeng

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samak Kaewsuksaeng is the Vice President for Research and Innovation of Thaksin University, Thailand. He is an expert in post-harvest technology. He was a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Agriculture, Yamaguchi University, Japan and many esteemed universities in Korea, and USA. Furthermore, he was granted for training course on “the Postharvest Physiology, Pathology and Handling of Fresh Commodities” Agricultural Research Organization (ARO), Israel. He has 13 years teaching experiences and has published numerous research papers in national and international publications.

Mr Paul Fairburn

Paul is an experienced Director of Innovation, with a background in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, utilities, and higher education. With significant experience of leadership, organisational change and strategy implementation, Paul has a deep understanding of supplier/client management, building value propositions, collaborative partnerships, innovation management, and the development of large-scale projects.

The Enterprise & Innovation Organisation (EIO) at Coventry University are responsible for establishing strong links between the University’s academic expertise, and a wide breadth of public and private sector organisations across global markets. Active in a range of sectors (including manufacturing, mobility, healthcare, and the creative economy), individual members of the EIO are typically involved in the writing of bids, tenders, and business plans, IP commercialisation, sales & account management, and marketing/PR.

Paul is a CMI (Chartered Management Institute) approved coach and mentor, with current board level and external advisory responsibilities as a Non-Executive Director with Feraru Dynamics, and Board Member of the European Business & Innovation Network (EBN).

Professor Ben Quarshie Honyenuga

Prof. Ben Q. Honyenuga is the current Vice-Chancellor of Ho Technical University. Prior to this appointment, he served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor/ Acting Vice-Chancellor of Ho Technical University, Interim Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Vice Rector, and Dean of Students. He also served as Coordinator, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Institute of Distance Learning) at the Ho Centre for eight years, as well as Coordinator for the NUFFIC/IEPA-UCC Leadership, Capacity Building and Change Management Project.

Prof. Ben Honyenuga has a Certificate in Management of Higher Education Institutes, Galilee, Israel. He obtained a PhD degree in Management from the Open University of the Netherlands, Heerlen and a Master of Philosophy Degree from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. Prof. Honyenuga also holds a Master of Public Administration Degree from University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.

Prof. Ben Honyenuga has rich experience in teaching for two decades at the undergraduate and graduate levels and attended and presented papers in several National and International Academic Conferences. Prof. Ben Honyenuga has a significant number of publications to his credit as Journal Articles, Edited Book/ Chapters, Refereed Conference Proceedings, Course manuals and Technical Reports. Prof Honyenuga attained the enviable position of a Senior Member of the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) in 2020, having met the required high index based on publications in innovation and related fields.

Prof. Ben Honyenuga participated on invitation as an expert in the African Union Commission Conference in Addis Ababa on Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion in Africa dubbed Africa Talks Jobs in October 30-31, 2018. In January 2012, Prof. Ben Honyenuga was appointed Management and Organization Expert by JBP Consult, contracted by Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) to monitor and evaluate the 2010 performance of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in the Central and Western Regions using the Functional Assessment and Organizational Tool (FOAT).

Prof. Honyenuga is a UN Certified Trainer of Trainers in Conflict Transformation. He is a member of International Management Development Association (IMDA), Ghana Institute of Management, Decisions Sciences Institute and the British Academy of Management. He serves on a number of National Boards and Committees.

Professor, Dr. Akito Takasaki

Professor Akito Takasaki received his Dr. Eng. from Tokyo Institute of Technology and his DSc. from Hiroshima University. His professional career started as a researcher at Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute and also a researcher at OECD Halden Reactor Project, Institutt for Energiteknikk, Halden, Norway. He then moved to Department of Mathematics and Physics, National Defense Academy, and has been employed at Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) since 1996. Now, he has been a vice president of SIT since 2021. He received a Medal Komisji Edukacji Narodowej from Ministry of Higher Education of Polish government in 2011, and the title of Honorary Consul from AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland in 2017.

He was a visiting Professor at Department of Physics of Washington University in St. Louis (USA) and at Faculty of Energy and Fuels of AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland).

He has published about one hundred fifty scientific papers on mechanics of materials, and materials science and engineering fields. He was a trustee of Materials Research Society of Japan and an academic advisor of ASEAN University Network/Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network. Since 2021, he has been serving as a chairman of board of directors of Japan University Consortium for Transnational-education, where he promotes international higher education in Japan for students from southeast Asian countries.
