Dr Ciarán Ó hAnnracháin

Dr Ciarán Ó hAnnracháin is the current Atlantic Technological University Integration Project Manager, representing the Donegal Colleges in the creation of the new TU. He has specific university-wide responsibilities for Academic Affairs and Administration, Quality Assurance, Global Relations and External Engagement. He received his EdD from University of Sheffield, his MBS (MIS) from University College Dublin and his BSc (Mgmt) from Trinity College Dublin.

Prior to his current role, he has worked in tertiary education, both public and private, for 30 years in the Irish, UK, US and Swiss education systems, predominantly working in the field of Hospitality and Tourism Business Management. Most recently, he was Head of School of Tourism at Letterkenny Institute of Technology. His research interests include higher education policy and tourism education.
